At Mindless Collective, we offer 14k gold-plated stainless steel, 14k gold-filled, and sterling silver jewellery. We have tried to minimise our use of gold-plated materials and replace parts with gold-filled items where possible, while also maintaining an affordable price.

Sterling silver is a durable and corrosion-resistant metal, so it is safe to wear while swimming, showering, or doing other water-related activities. However, it is important to note that prolonged exposure to certain chemicals or harsh water conditions can cause tarnishing or damage to the silver. We do recommend cleaning your sterling silver jewellery to maintain its colour. We recommend the brand Connoisseurs. Please also avoid wearing your sterling silver pieces in hot springs. Hot springs may contain reactive compounds.

Our cord necklaces contain either sterling silver or gold-filled materials (the choice is yours), which CAN BE WORN IN WATER!

For all of our gold charm pieces (including the Le Fleur Necklace), we recommend that you treat them as ‘costume jewellery’ and take them off when handling chemicals, lotions, hand sanitiser, and when entering water. Storing them in a dry and dark place i.e. within their original packaging, will also keep your jewellery in tip-top shape! Whilst the findings (pins and jump-rings) are gold-filled, the chains and charms of the jewellery are gold-plated. Caring for your jewellery per the care-card is a must!
